But Eid at the ‘Palestinian Girls’ Home’ has a different flavour; it is not merely a day of joy, but a message of solidarity proving to those girls who have lost their support that the entire nation is their support.”

"The Palestinian orphan is not merely a child who has lost her father; she is a story of resilience that requires a tender touch from us to wipe the dust of sorrow from her heart. And so, we launch our annual campaign to provide ‘Eid clothing’, to clothe them in garments of dignity and joy, and to paint a smile on their faces befitting the sanctity of this land.”
